Before pursuing her aspirations as a children’s literature author, Danna Zeiger was Biology Professor and Program Director at a college in Boston, serving disadvantaged and first-in-the-family students from diverse backgrounds. While homeschooling her three spirited kids, Danna established a STEM accessibility and educational resource entitled DrZatHome.
Her writing credits include winning: 2022 Rate Your Story’s Spring contest grand prize; first place in the 2022 Spring Fling Kidlit Writing Contest; fifth place in 2022 Vivian Kirkfield’s 50 Precious Words international contest; and winner in 2022 SunWriteFun Annual Contest. Danna also won a competitive scholarship to attend the Highlights Foundation and PJ Library August 2022 Camp. She is represented by Jonathan Rosen of The Seymour Agency.
